Diamond Effect Records is an emerging record label in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

The founder, Rico Nevotion, has been an entertainer in the music industry since 1991; he uses his experience and knowledge of the industry to create a company that balances entertainment, artistic expression and business. Rico has developed a team of highly motivated and knowledgeable people, and together they have built a powerful upper management Diamond Effect Records is targeted toward innovative music, concepts, entertainment, and business strategies.

Diamond Effect Records knows the importance of business relationships and strives to build strong relationships with other professionals in the industry. We have collaborated with some of the top independent labels both locally and nationally to create a variety of talent and sound that is unique and extends a wide array of genres. Our goal is to build a team of the most talented individuals in all areas of the industry and to work with – instead of against-select labels with specialized talent to establish a powerful alliance that can reach extended target audiences.

Entertainment is the key force that drives the music Industry; almost all forms of entertainment include music in some way. Knowing how to entertain is an element that puts Diamond Effect Records above many others. We do not only work to put out some of the best new music, but also have the most effective performances. Rico has performed with many national recording artists such as The Artist formally known as Prince, Shaquille O’Neal, Boys II Men, Soul 4 Real, All 4 One, and many more. He brings his experience to develop Diamond Effect artists into key performers with the help of Production Manager,
Mystic who specializes in artist development. Also President/CEO of:
katastrofik/Beat Bound Entertainment is Tone also known as T Lace, has performed with many national artist around the world. Also Known/Respected for the quality of his production.

The foundation of this industry is foremost the music that turns listeners into life long fans. Collaborating with several talented and dedicated professionals we are able to combine different complimentary styles to create new innovative sounds and concepts that are popular today and continue to grow into the future. We continue to build a name in the industry for our writing, concepts, production, and entertainment skills.

Diamond Effect Records is focused on becoming a quality, fully functional independent record label. We develop artists to be more than just music talent; they must also expand to be entertainers, professionals, and community leaders. Our artists, management, and support staff are challenged to think beyond today and into the future. All artists have performed in a variety of states and in front of a variety of audiences. Once fully established we will have a name in the industry for unique sound, performances and blend of genres with a distribution contract to carry us to every fan.
